Ask a Legal QuestionCategory: BusinessForeign ownership options in F&B business in Bali
Anonymous asked 3 years ago

I need some advice regarding foreign ownership of an Indonesian restaurant. I hold Australian citizenship and would like to start a business in the F&B industry. It’s my understanding that previously foreign ownership was capped at 49% for foreign ownership, but that there have recently have been plans for liberalizing the Indonesian economic landscape. Would I be eligible to set up a foreign entity in Indonesia and own a 100% stake in my business?
